@kirkiscool @jentaub it’s not bad… there’s nothing wrong with it. It’s been depicted in movies and theatre for decades & centuries, respectively. For the longest time, male actors performed the female roles as women were not acceptable on the stage.

Every year, 000's of parents take their children to see a pantomime, which invariably includes several fellas wearing women's clothes and makeup. And let's not go on about Shakespeare's plays, where males played all roles

Unfortunately, this is teaching innocent kids that outward beauty is not only very important, but a commodity to be used to get ahead.

Indy Em@jentaub agreed. I am of the opinion that pageants are gross and only lead to kids not feeling good about who they are without all that polish. Let kids/people be who they are. Our society has effed up so many with unrealistic beauty standards and it’s sad.
