I'm super passionate about equality and social justice, making friends with magpies, and trying to stay positive.
The things that make my heart happy are #nature, #literature, #gardening, #frogs, #music, and #flowers.

@carlwhyz I interrupted a big meeting of about 10 of them once. They gather in a big circle. One of them left the circle and approached me as if to say "this is a private meeting". Very interesting birds.

@carlwhyz I'm guessing by your server that you are in Australia. I live in the southwestern USA, in the desert. We can grow year round. What part of your country are you in?

@JaqStone I'm on the South-east coast of NSW. Honestly I'm not sure how I'd describe our climate anymore; it's either flooded or on fire these days.
But usually temperate and we can grow year round, too.

@carlwhyz It has been hard to see how terrible the flooding has been for you guys. The fires a couple of years ago were just heart breaking. Where I live has the fewest natural disasters of any area of our country. It just gets unbearably hot in the summer.
