#DailyRetroGame 4: Sensible Soccer (1992)

With a big footie event going on, it’s fitting to make the majestic Sensi today’s #retrogaming pick.

Co-creator Jon Hare once told me the aim was to make a game that represented how soccer felt in your head, not how it looked on the telly.

Dinky players, fast overhead gameplay and on-the-frame responsiveness shot Sensi to the top of the league – until SWOS arrived.

Play it on the #Amiga, if you can.

@craiggrannell I never had the slightest interest in soccer, but Sensi Soccer was a great game anyone could pick up and play. Absolutely classic games.
@craiggrannell one of the greatest games ever made
@craiggrannell the only football game I've ever liked.
@craiggrannell I used to play unsensible soccer on my Amiga 500, which was the same but you could play as fruit (Apples and Oranges). It was such a fun game.
@craiggrannell I put so many hours into this game. And I'm Australian. Which tells you how awesome Sensible Soccer was.
