There's 3 things to start with.
1) Add a picture to your profile , and maybe a header image (on website in the browser, under Preferences > Profile)
2) Write an #introduction post. Use many #hashtags of your interests so people can find you. Afterwards you can also click these hashtags in your own post, to see who's talking about that.
