I see a lot of posts about finding #Journalists on #Mastodon, and lists thereof, but few about finding #NewsOrganizations.

Is this a sign that what people really valued about the bird network was the direct access to journalists, not the feeds of the organizations themselves?

(PS: If anyone has a good list of news orgs, I'd appreciate the ability to see what other folks are doing)

@BostonAbrams I suspect it's more that people recognise that while individual journalists may have set up profiles it's likely that news orgs have yet to do so because of bureaucratic inertia. We've set up a profile though! https://mastodon.social/@decrypt
