I see a lot of posts about finding #Journalists on #Mastodon, and lists thereof, but few about finding #NewsOrganizations.

Is this a sign that what people really valued about the bird network was the direct access to journalists, not the feeds of the organizations themselves?

(PS: If anyone has a good list of news orgs, I'd appreciate the ability to see what other folks are doing)

@BostonAbrams I think that’s a general feature of Twitter (and social media) beyond journalism: people prefer to engage with other people over brands. A news organization might be useful to follow, but they won’t respond to you or provide you additional insights.
