@JaneTomlinson Fantastic capture. Last year was our first year living here. We popped a bird box up and the first thing in it was a Wren. Watched maybe 3 fledge, then come Autumn they were all still going back in it. Little did I know, that Wrens roost in nest boxes sometimes upto a dozen at a time!

@Cambsmothman yes! We put up a string of roosting pouches precisely to provide a safe and cosy place for small birds of a night. Alas we have seen no evidence of anyone using them. 😢 bloody love wrens. They’re so LOUD!

@JaneTomlinson Ah that's a shame. Maybe they'll come sooner or later. Yep, loudest bird in the garden! Apart from the sodding Cockerel across the road!
