@dapperhistorian I have ancestors (the Mabie Bros.) who ran a rather large circus in the mid-1800s. They, along with other circuses, set up their headquarters in Delavan, Wisconsin. One of their elephants, Romeo, was immortalized in a sculpture in the center of that town.
