In an attempt to help restore some #DisabilityTwitter connections for #DisabilityJustice / #DisabilityRights (& all our intersections) I've made a group here: @disabilityjustice .

Join the group - you will be able to see who else has joined (a bit like a list or viewing someone's followers).

Tag the group when you toot and group members will see your post in their tl.

There are Disability and ActuallyAutistic groups too - @disabilityjustice is inclusive of non-disabled activists & allies.

I was asked what is the difference between the
@disabilityjustice group and the @disability group.

The disability group is a space for disabled people to just be in, to share information or experiences or whatever is needed. It includes activism too, but not everyone wants to be an activist every day.

The disability justice group is about action, sharing knowledge, boosting each others work & ideas across instances, finding common cause. Follow the group (not me!) and tag it in for a boost.

@betaburns @disabilityjustice Shall I share on the #lawprofs instance as well?
@suzannedoyleguilloud @disabilityjustice absolutely Suzanne. I hope the group will attract a broad membership, practitioners, professionals and experts by experience sharing and boosting each others interests.
Excited about this. Hopefully more people from Twitter will move over. @betaburns @disabilityjustice
@katherinettyson @disabilityjustice it will be great if it helps people connect - there is a lot of worry about losing networks. Make sure you follow the group (not my account!) to be listed in the followers and to be included when others post!
