Atz@anthony Nice. Next step - create a social.cbsnews.com mastodon server and post from that instead. Solves the 'blue check' problem since accounts from there would be verified by CBS. Then anyone can follow CBS accounts easily.

Jeff@anthony I know that some people have strong feelings about this but I'd like to see the major news outlets in the Fediverse. Even if it's just a bot that posts links to articles on their web site. By following both local and national media outlets' Twitter accounts I was able to keep abreast of the news without having to install N+1 apps that were always popping up notifications.
