Unless you just want a larger Court, not bound by ethics rules, engaging in the kind of behavior described in the NYT piece. What we need are guardrails - an understanding that the Court sits w/i our democracy. Our job us to strengthen it by creating the processes that promote impartiality & insulation from lobbying, not crossing our fingers & hoping for the best.

I'm an elderly lady in Tennessee, USA, who is a caregiver to my husband with mid-stage dementia. Follow geopolitical news, health care news and US political news. I'm a moderate who used to split my ticket when voting, but have been voting straight blue since GOP lost its mind. Evangelical, but not the sort who hates others who believe differently or wishes to enact legislation to force others to live way I do. Believe Christian nationalism is the devil work.
