My first orchidarium is going so well that I couldn't help but snatch up this used tank when I saw it going for cheap.

In the past it was home to a ball python, but I'm more likely to keep orchids and possibly dart frogs in this one. I did have to clean a few scales out of it. 😂 Shudder.

I'll be making a start today on planning how to fill this thing. Exciting!

@eruesso I didn't know there was such a thing! I can see myself doing that one day. I love orchids--happy day when I got one to bloom again. (I actually had nothing to do with it; it just bloomed suddenly!)

@KathyF They're so much fun! They're a bit of an investment to begin with, but then it's kind of automated and only needs monitoring. And enjoying!

Isn't it amazing when they flower when you least expect it? I take that as a sign of a job well done. Even if it only needs minimal care. 😂
