@dolearning @ben Ah. That is a pretty big loss of functionality, comparatively. I constantly use search over there to surface info on breaking news.

Twitter search means, searching for the keywords through all tweets from the beginning of time and space.
In the Fediverse, a search only goes through
* your own toots
* toots by others if you boosted them in the past
