I’m used to existing in the mirror universe, so having an account there and an account here is no biggie. #TwitterRefugees
@[email protected] am just a small time blogger so I post links to my stories on #Twitter and am not totally #twittermigration though I am on here and Tibel. Typically between 3-5 people actually go to a #tweet links, although more look at the tweet and image. Not much, but it only takes me a few minutes. This one didn't have a link but was critical of #Musk #Elon
@Hal_Brown He is not autistic and he is upsetting all of those of us who are #actuallyautistic, please as one psychologist to another, don't buy into it. His self-monitoring has nothing to do with autism.
@melsmarsh (Sorry, I stuck a word after your name by mistake in my first reply and can't get back to remove it.) In no way do I ever want to stigmatize anyone on the spectrum. #Enon demonstrates that someone can be on it and just be a garden-variety ass, or perhaps better put, a baby bull bullshitting and blundering his way through the china shop he just bought.
@Hal_Brown except he like many people like to claim autism when there is no evidence to suppose he IS on it. Sometimes people are just asses without diagnoses. Being an ass does not being someone is autistic, most of us are really nice! #Autism is one of my specialties and no person with training in autism that I know (teacher, therapist, etc) thinks he has it. He acts more like my nephew the diagnosed narcissist than autism.
@melsmarsh Here's an article published in The Conversation about Musk and autism. It seems to me that one of the problems with our understanding of what is now called autism spectrum disorder is the middle word: spectrum, and that people anywhere along the spectrum can have many traits, some related to being on the spectrum and some not. https://theconversation.com/elon-musk-how-being-autistic-may-make-him-think-differently-194228
Elon Musk: how being autistic may make him think differently

Musk’s autistic traits and history of being bullied might help explain why he appears combative on social media

The Conversation
@Hal_Brown yes I’ve seen the article. That is 1) not a reputable source, 2) he is again the one claiming it with no evidence to back him. Repeating a falsehood time and time again does not make it true when the entire industry and experts in autism spectrum disorders confirm that he does not meet the criteria. The way he thinks is NOT an autism. Heck the amount of lies he has been caught in alone burst the theory. I’m a counselor & former sped teacher who led a support group for years
@melsmarsh I am not an expert on autism. All I know about Musk and his claim that he is on the spectrum is what I read. Nobody who has evaluated him in person has verified this so it is open to speculation. Here's another article you probably have seen but others following this may have not. https://medicalxpress.com/news/2022-11-elon-musk-autistic-differently.html
@Hal_Brown Also this appears to be the exact same article but by a different website.
