📣 ➡️ #ClimateEmergency Just released: a new report by #Legambiente's Osservatorio Città Clima on the impacts of #weather and #climate events in Italy shows an alarming trend. Floods, drought and damages from hailstorms are on the rise.
In the last 13 years 1,503 #ExtremeWeather events have been recorded by the Osservatorio, with sadly 279 dead 👇🏼

Some areas have clearly a predominant concentration of specific events such as #Salento (south east of #Italy) with whirlwinds.

It's undeniably urgent for #Italy to adopt a National #adaptation Plan. 24 countries in Europe (included the #UK) already approved and updated one. The final infographic show how many areas are constantly affected and require action.
