Waz?

There's no way to actually *change* my username on Mastodon, is there?

I just have to create a new account on here, redirect, refollow everyone, and lose all of my toots?

@Warwraith The redirect keeps everything - if you redirect on the same platform, the toots would be there too? If you can redirect on the same platform...

@sorce Oh. I redirected my other account, but it was between instances. I'm not sure about intra-instance.

@Warwraith I would ask @aussocialadmin or @AusSocialMods if that was possible.

I just looked, and I cannot see how. But.. Maybe they can from the database side?

@Warwraith try just creating a new account and migrating your old one over to it. It works if you change servers, but not sure if you create it in the same server
