@norkoval yes, #blender exists since the 90th and already had cool features like a game engine built in. It was much harder to get started than today, though. That changed a lot and it’s great to see it became much more popular.

@worddev yeah, I know. My first ever Blender experience was around 1.0. But I was just playing around with this CRT screen and I thought it will be cool to see the newest Blender version with this retro look.

@norkoval I have to admit that I don’t remember how Blender looked like in the 90th.

But this is cool and gives me some retro vibes! I actually used my TV as second or third monitor back then.

@worddev @norkoval I remember there were two versions; one free, and the other you could buy a B-key to unlock more features.

@worddev @norkoval Blender first saw the light in 1994, with v1.0 released in 1995. So it's 27 years old :)

@worddev place It didn't look like it does today, but still, some of the most used shortcuts from back then, are still in use today.

@Gremriel Haha, cool! I've never had a manual. The only shortcuts I remember and use today is 'R', 'G' and 'S'.
