While I'm in bed he will paw at the covers until I lift them up for him to go in and investigate. Sometimes he'll decide the covers aren't to his liking and will walk off rather than going inside, only to come back some time later to see if conditions have improved.

DemiCreations@garius I'm having the same. My cat Skrรฅllan isn't just my personal sewing assistant, she's also become the family's tax collector. Whenever I enter upstairs, or go to my sewing room (where my laptop is), there's outstanding tax to be collected. The bathroom is extra heavily taxed and has twice the amount of tax collectors...
