Just out of curiosity, are you familiar with Matrix, and was there a reason it was left out of the upload?
@jame I have a matrix server for the channel, but I chose to talk about equivalents to the more “usual” social networks, there wasn’t enough time to mention everything :)

@NootNoot @thelinuxEXP It's my understanding that it *kind of* is. Matrix instances can talk to other Matrix instances, making it federated. However they can only communicate amongst themselves unless you set up some sort of puppeting bridge for other services
calc.exe@jame @NootNoot @thelinuxEXP Matrix, while a federated service, is NOT part of the Fediverse because it cannot communicate on ActivityPub/Zot/OSatus/etc. It's still my go-to messenger, and popular among fedi users, but just because something is federated doesn't mean it's on the Fediverse.
