An argument from divine hiddenness for #atheism

• If #God exists, God wants to have a loving relationship which each of us created beings.

• If God is omnipotent, God has the ability to tell each of us exactly the thing we would need to know so that we, of our own free will, would choose to enter into a loving relationship with God.

• Some people do not have a loving relationship with God, and many do not even have enough information to believe that God exists.

• Thus God, as defined above, does not exist.

@lack
I'd modify your argument to say the #ChristianGod instead of merely #God. This is because most deities don't necessarily chain a desire for a personal relationship. While the #ChristianGod does.
@bra1ncramp I don't know if it's exclusively the God of Christianity that desires relationship; that may be a thread in other religions too. But you're correct that this argument is only relevant against a God that has those properties: desires relationship, all knowing, all powerful.
@lack that's fair. There be other deities who make such claims.

@bra1ncramp probably!

Some people think there are exactly as many conceptions of deities as there are people who conceive of them...
