According to Private Eye, Kwasi Kwarteng has had a second job with Crispin Odey's hedge fund as a paid 'political advisor' at £20,000 a month ever since he was elected as an MP in 2010.

It is endless, isn’t it ? The corruption is endless.

@3DayMonk We desperately need laws banning MPs taking on any other work/roles/jobs/"advisor" positions, anything outside their work as an MP. It all just screams corruption and massive conflict of interest. Also, they're meant to be running the bloody country. If that's not enough to keep them busy perhaps they should make way for someone else to do a better job of it.

Whatever and whenever I hear from them my first assumption is it is a lie and that motivation is self-serving corruption and self-preservation
