We never let my kid use his nerf guns outside because of this, and I have a friend who is Native American doesn't let her kids play with them outside either.

@fudgesiclesxd When my kids were little here in the US they played with brightly colored nerf and water guns, but that was usually only at outdoor parties with friends I think. But when I was a kid back in the 80s I had a box of very really looking toy guns. The big difference is that I lived on a farm.

@JoeMcConn @stux I was at the firing range over the weekend and had a bullet jam that was tough. I asked the range master to clear it, when he came back to the range he handed my gun off to someone else.
So, apparently you can hang around the gunshop and get free guns too. ;)

David_MS@stux US sates have different laws and purchasing / selling firearms in the US. It can get complicated. Even if a social media site was 100% US Domestic, I wouldn't blame them for not wanting the headache. That's what Gunbroker is for (transfers are done at a local Federal Firearms Licensee w/background check).
