Elisabeth AndersonAnother #MastodonTip I've learned is that if you're posting a long thread then make the first one public (with the 🌍Public: Post to public timelines) but make the rest of them unlisted (with the 🔓Unlisted: Do not show in public timelines) which means the replies don't appear on people's timelines but the first post does! ☺️
Elisabeth M@velobetty Back when I was on scholar.social they recommended doing either this, or putting the thread inside a content wrapper labeled "thread." Both good ideas!

@Womenwhotech @velobetty Oh no, I mean the CW. Sometimes called content warning, sometimes called content wrapper. Different instances use it in different ways, hence the different names (I am guessing)
