An argument from divine hiddenness for #atheism

• If #God exists, God wants to have a loving relationship which each of us created beings.

• If God is omnipotent, God has the ability to tell each of us exactly the thing we would need to know so that we, of our own free will, would choose to enter into a loving relationship with God.

• Some people do not have a loving relationship with God, and many do not even have enough information to believe that God exists.

• Thus God, as defined above, does not exist.

#CounterApologetic

@lack I am not a strong theist. But this is a terrible argument. Why should we assume that G-d wants to have a personal relationship with everyone? Even a loving G-d might recognize that theistic religion isn't the best thing for everyone.
@StatsJew @lack I belife in the god of the #bible. And what you can see there, is that #god definitely wants a relationship with everyone. Probably every person has in his life this some situations, where he is thinking about some higher Power… is this hint not enough? 😊
Also looking into the nature, the beginning of our life and desire to fill our „inside needs“? 🙈

@chrissx @StatsJew

For some people, no. A hint is not enough. But God would know that, presumably!

Likewise, looking at nature, the beginning of life and desire to fill our "inside needs" just leaves me with questions, not answers! And that's okay! Not knowing is the gateway to discovery.
