Imagine, if you will, that you're a disembodied #brain. A brain that spontaneously popped into existence in a most unlikely coalescing of random particles, a brain busily conjuring up a #reality consisting of you imagining yourself as a disembodied brain. 🙃

That's amazing!

I've loved the topic of Boltzmann brains since I was a little kid.

My 3rd-grade teacher explained "Natural-vs-Man-Made" to the class. It didn't go well. One kid asked how he could tell whether a car he encountered in the desert were natural or man-made.

I raised my hand and said, "There's no way you will ever find a Boltzmann Camaro in the desert."

My teacher responded with...

Wait for it...

"Camaros are made by Chevrolet, not Boltzmann."

@AndroidAstronomer Thanks! And bahaha, "Boltzmann Camaro" is brilliant, especially for a third-grader. Too bad that went over your teacher's head. Plus, if the many-worlds theory is correct, there's gotta be a Boltzmann Camaro in some universe--or at least a brain that is imagining it. 🧠 😂
