In 1978, while I was in London, I bought 3 recommended current "Punk" Albums (which changed my life instantly).
One was by X-Ray Spex, which had a very early NoWave approach.
The second was by Strangers, which quickly turned out wasn't punk at all but very cute RocknRoll.
The 3rd was Clash's London Calling and I still love it. It took me years to realize that this one was most far away from Punk music.

Anyway, Rock the Cashba and London Calling are all time Classics 😄

@nicokruppe 1000% correct. London Calling is probably their best album. It’s unreal. The truth is that they moved away from being pure punk almost instantly, second album, pretty much. But THEY still embodied punk and the greatest punk band ever in my opinion.
