@MM0INH @bloor I was on call and didn't get a single call. 13 minutes to the end of the 'shift', and the sun will set soon.

I could have done with some QRP Portable calmness...

I have a couple of cans of stout and some pomegranate Turkish delight. I am as sorted as i can be in the circumstance.

There are so many problems with my radios... The old C5800 won't even transmit at 1W now - even against a dummy load, simply goes into rapid reset cycle.

Reception isn't bad though.

I think I need to measure the voltage at the radio. The supply is at 13.8V, FT-847 is happy with it, but if the cabling / interface is bad...

It's a 30+y old radio and it will eventually die - and it had a hard life with me for the last 15 years or so, but it's one of my all-mode things I was planning to install in my car.
