Brendan, what’s the problem with partisan elected university boards?
Well …. Ronald Weiser is a Regent for the University of #Michigan and chair of the state #Republican Party. In this letter, he suggests that Republicans lost the election in Michigan because young people and woman were “captured” by #Democrat and implies they were too silly to know they were voting an “evil” abortion amendment. That’s right, UM Reagent thinks young people aren’t good voters.

@cant_b

Also troubling is the comment about the "ridiculously drawn maps that favor Democrats." This is the first time the #MichiganGOP couldn't win by gerrymandering because of the redistricting commission & new map--approved via citizen driven ballot initiative and #Michigan voters in '18. Instead of realizing voters do not want their extremist agenda & lack of any real platform, they double down and blame their loss on everyone else, while continuing to spread misinformation.😠

@Snarkycounsel @cant_b
Do they actually think voters favor their “policies”? They can’t be that delusional, can they? Or is their lust for power so blinding? Whatever, it’s frightening. I’m so very grateful for “those women in Michigan”!🙂

@Tilklem

You're right. What am I thinking? 🙃 The Republicans do not care. It's all about power.

I am so proud of Michigan voters reelecting "those women from Michigan." And for passing all three proposals. Definitely makes us the Great Lakes State in my biased opinion.:)
