Tomorrow is Veteran’s Day. As a veteran, I’ve made a habit in recent years of thanking folks for non-military public service. Educators, medical professionals, city workers, anyone serving the public in whatever capacity. It’s become a fun tradition. I look forward to it. 💜
@charlotteclymer as an educator, thank you.
@MelaKatie @charlotteclymer and we will start here a day early! Thank you for your service as an educator!
@charlotteclymer USMC vet here. I love this idea and am totally stealing it. 😃
@charlotteclymer that’s amazing, and I may need to start doing this too. Thanks for a great idea! I actually have a tough time on Veteran’s Day and this may help.
@charlotteclymer I have a lot of friends who are nurses and I admire their sacrifice. Most of them are Asian American and suffered so much because of trump ... labeling it the "China Flu" was the worst thing ever for them and their families.
@charlotteclymer Charlotte! So happy to see you here!! ✨✨
You always offer kindness and compassion 💜

@charlotteclymer

That's beautiful, Charlotte. I think I;ll start doing the same.

@charlotteclymer
Thank you Charlotte. After 37 years in public school music teaching I have known many unsung heroes who give their life's energy to hundreds or thousands of children in a career.
@charlotteclymer
Thank you for your service. Happy Veterans Day!!
@charlotteclymer
Thanks for sharing! I’m def adopting this.
USN vet.
@charlotteclymer thank you! I was a volunteer for 2 plus years with Doctors Without Borders in Africa. It was not easy and it’s not often recognized
@charlotteclymer thank you for your service.
@charlotteclymer Hi, Charlotte. Was happy to see you on this platform! Just crossed over from Twitter. I’m a retired public school teacher who helped disadvantaged youth in rural community.
@charlotteclymer Thank you for your service and for recognizing other people who do so. Signed, a teacher.

@charlotteclymer as another army vet, I will say it’s one of my least favorite days. Didn’t do it to be daggum thanked. Did it because I felt it was right.

Still feel it was even if I ended up deploying for Desert Storm right out of AIT.

@charlotteclymer this teacher thanks you for your service!
@charlotteclymer thank you for your service. I'm guessing being surrounded by a political/academic/ivory tower culture with many criticisms and distrust of the military can feel odd or offensive. Thanks, signed a teacher.
@charlotteclymer you were my first follow over here. Thanks for orienting me! Have enjoyed your tweets for years, always been too shy to post. Happy Veterens Day.
