Ok. Nothing interesting here. I’m testing an app I just saw called Openvibe that apparently will consolidate several social media feeds into one and let me cross post. This is just a cross post test.
We have a booting iMac G4 again, and it's booting off a 500G SSD which is a very nice improvement. This one's video flaked out briefly after I reassembled it, terrifying me for a few minutes, I pulled it apart, reseated things, pulled out the internal RAM, and it's booting again. I do not like working on this hardware one bit, but it's a delightful system for SimCity 2000, Caesar II/III, and other '90s Mac games.

My little glass of fear. Mindkiller from Newgrass Brewing.

"I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Have an Music playlist on that decided I needed to hear Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance. And…I had to back up. She totally made a trio of Hitchcock references in the middle of the song. Yes, I’m sure everyone already knew that. I don’t dislike her music, but I rarely seek it out, so it was fun to hear.

So Threads may, at some point, be able to federate with Mastodon. That’s cool as there is no chance I set up a Meta account, though the idea of one saying “I don’t use this” with my other locations is tempting.

But…will I still end up getting scraped by their data bot if I am interacting with Thread users?

AirTags are great. They regularly keep me from losing important stuff like my keys and earbuds. Now, how much to have one built into the frame of my glasses?

It’s a hard one today.😂🤣

Worldle - Guess the Country

So this home is for sale in my town. The current owners clearly took the time to preserve the mid-century feel of the bath while updating it. I love those aqua tiles.

I know as soon as it sells the new owner is going to rip it out. Shame.

And now for a Mastodon exclusive:
I had getting injections in my eye. I will have a floating bubble for a few days that will make me get vertigo every time it moves. Which is always.
