@Jlfphoto @Fascinatorfun I disagree. There are different interests, and just like Twitter you can find others interested in each topic. To suggest any particular topic isn't welcome because this is federated isn't true in my experience.

I keep one account for mainly technical follows and toots and have another for wide ranging and mainly political follows and toots. Just as I do on Twitter.

@happyborg @Fascinatorfun I am only pointing out what has been written many times before and across many of the servers.
Some people get triggered by politics. This place was built to avoid such things.
It may work for you, I can't say. YMMV.

@Jlfphoto @Fascinatorfun many servers have a particular theme and many don't. I think it would be more accurate and helpful to acknowledge that rather than suggest mastodon is universally non-political when it isn't.
