Realizing a day late (per usual) that my virgin Mastodon post should have included some hashtags. I write #fiction, hoping to connect (or reconnect, if you are/were on that $44B platform) with other #writers and #authors.

TBH I'm not sure I'm on the right server, or instance, or whatever, or if that even matters.

Thoughts? Prayers? Bueller?

@barrybergman you were supervised and still messed up. What can be done with you says the cat.
@ThrillerWriter We have an arrangement: I don't tell them what to do, they don't tell me what to do (all exceptions duly noted)
@barrybergman My understanding is that #Mastodon is a network of tiny servers, that they are all linked so we can read & comment on posts from anywhere in that network. If I am wrong you can bet that someone will quickly correct our understanding. The #cat photos are of my two grey #cats at a few months old & just last week. They are glued at the hip as you can see.

@SharonBergAuthor The cats are adorable. Servers aren't necessarily tiny, but yes, we can (mostly) interact at will--since we follow each other, our cat pix and other posts will show up in our home feeds. You can also follow hashtags to further curate the content you see in your home timeline.

Our 1yo cats are bonded sibs, also joined at the hip. Our 17yo black cat adores them, and vice versa.
