Very few episodes of #DoctorWho are "Companion-Lite", meaning the Doctor is featured as normal, but the companion is either absent or sidelined.

This is usually a way to shoot two episodes at the same time. There are also Doctor-Lite episodes!

Sometimes this makes for very interesting story choices.

Of these, which is your favourite Companion-Lite story?

TARDIS Guide
Heaven Sent and Midnight are both amazing episodes, and both so different!
@tardis probably my two favorite episodes of new who
@tardis I honestly didn't like Midnight at all! Not sure why it always gets good reviews.
That's what I like about #doctorWho though. There's so many different aspects of it, and everyone likes different parts of it
@lee fair enough! I absolutely love that story.
@tardis I know I'm in the minority! But then, I also think that #Tennant is overrated as well ๐Ÿซฃ (I'll hide now)
Don't get me wrong, he was very good, but I much prefer Matt Smith!
@lee I love them both, in different ways!

@lee @tardis I'm another rare disliker of Midnight.

It's too tense in an uncomfortable way for me.

It's obviously a great episode as that's what it's setting out to do, but I am very rarely in the mood to feel that.

@tardis Heaven Sent and then Midnight a very close second. Midnight is fantastic and scary but the acting tour de force from a solo Capaldi in Heaven Sent is just...chefs kiss ๐Ÿ’‹
@tardis midnight , my all time favourite doctor who story ๐Ÿ‘Œ
