@jesswade this is so cool! At the research centre where I work, one of our researchers, Sara Albuquerque, also published a children's book about her subject: the botanist Welwitsch and his studies on Welwitschia mirabilis. If you read Portuguese, it may get you a copy. 😊
(she's working on an English translation and looking for a publisher)
