@icefyre I don’t even want that! I only want people I follow to read it. Probably no good way to implement this with a federated service like mastodon tbh

@icefyre @d0nut If you use the web client for infosec.exchange you can choose to post to the local instant only. (Click the three dots then flip on the switch for “Local Only”)

That’s a feature of the fork of Mastadon we’re on so it’s not available in vanilla Mastadon apps though.

@d0nut You can change privacy on the web client to only people you mention. Not perfect but a start.

@d0nut There are a few other modes also. The three dots in the web client can make the post local to this instance only.
