Macro thought after few days - I don’t really see Mastodon as a Twitter substitute per se. I think there more than ok.

I think this community may shape up to be something different & I am curious about it enough that I have been coming back. Couldn’t say the same about some of the few other platforms that have popped up in recent years (ie clubhouse etc).

I appreciate the volunteers who are keeping this place. No doubt there will be bumps and hiccups. Ready to #persist through it. (1/)

BTW I am not leaving Twitter. I won’t delete my account there bc don’t want to completely cede turf to the right. That said I am going to dial my engagement down there a lot and if share original content or reflections this will be the place I go first because the values here so far sync up with mine. @murshedz Yes. And use Twitter to suggest them Mastodon. Will be a better use.
