So, in more good #AcademicMastodon news, Humanities Commons now has its own instance: hcommons.social. And I really like their moderation policy (the first I've seen to explicitly ban casteism and COVID-denialism).

I would move over now, but I realize that a lot of my posts have been PSAs, info posts, and other similar content helping folks in the #TwitterMigration. Will these remain in place if I move accounts?

OK, I've secured my handle there, but waiting to see if anyone on here has some insights into how to ensure these info posts stay up before I migrate over to the Humanities Commons server. Thanks for all the boosts!

I'm like, do we all have to move there now cuz I'll be the odd one out? But when I posted that, I broke my instance and got locked out for a while. Coincidence? 🤣

Hey @smaran, mstdn.social which I'm on also bans casteism. It would be great if COVID denialism was on the list too but hopefully we don't have that here!
