I have two full suspension #mtb, the older of the two is a 2007 Chumba XCL. The newer one is built up around a carbon frame I bought off AliExpress. #biketooter

The newer #mtb I built up last winter from an AliExpress #ChineseCarbon frame. It's a 27.5+/29 frame. I chose to put 27.5" wheels on it, but I'll probably switch to 29" over the winter - too many pedal strikes due to the low bottom bracket. @patmikemid It's a Long Haul Trucker, bought 14 years ago IIRC. It's been solid, the only real issue I had was a headset that wore out too soon for my liking. I've never actually tried to tour with it, my longest day is still under 50 miles. But I do consider it a great all around #roadbike.
If I had to do it again, I'd buy the Disc Trucker today.
@SVChucko Thanks for info. I was leaning toward the Grappler but I’ll check out the Disc Trucker as well. My primary goal is to eliminate all car trips in the county.
