I like these that I just posted in a reply - so am sharing them as a standalone toot. My process! I write a first draft, isolate scenes, cut up scene headings, arrange by series and theme and centrality to the middle of the mandala, then rearrange scenes as needed. Learned this method from #StuartHorwitz. #creativewriting #amwriting #nanowrimo
@maiakbc love this, looks like your organisation reached a peak so high it transcended into decor
@Shrigglepuss Yup that's the architect in me for sure!
@maiakbc would love to model this with some of my analytical work. Great idea, is there any more writing on this method you’d recommend?
@Isaac Yes he has written a lot - and I just tagged him on a FB post to let us know if/when he arrives on Mastodon - https://www.bookarchitecture.com/ #StuartHorwitz #nanowrimo
@Isaac BTW where in Canada are you? I'm from Vancouver, live in the US in NJ and recently worked in Ottawa.
@maiakbc I’m Toronto based. Lived in Ottawa for a few years though!
@Isaac I just looked in more detail at his site. There are a lot of resources - the one most helpful to you might be the Blueprint book. That most closely resembles what I do.
@maiakbc thanks so much! I use Nvivo typically bud find that sometimes it’s just so boring/ maybe that boringness can be challenged !
