Answer 1) you get more flooding. You get higher #insurance $$$ and greater ⚠️risk ⚠️ to the public. There is a strong reason we don’t build on #floodplains. #EnvironmentalAssessments help keep wetlands where they belong and where they serve us all purifying #water, storing #carbon and mitigating #floods.
