@shanselman What does DNSimple do?
@BubblegumYeti they are the worlds best dns registrar. All my sites are there

@shanselman @being @bitbonk @[email protected]

still not so cool for a HT

reserved my HT only when:

@[email protected]
or alt
@*@hanselman.social

show up in this search:

(BTW screenshot uploaded with Ctrl+V in text dialogue...
too many mastodon UI complains are more like switching scares)

@[email protected] @bitbonk @being @teixi what makes them show up there? I assume once [email protected] is up then searching for hanselman will find it

@shanselman @[email protected] @bitbonk @being

we are now back again newbies, learning this alt 😜 tricks.

ps: can't answer your q now.
Reserving my HT for the occasion!

@shanselman @being @bitbonk @opuki so we all end up stranded on an island, thinking about our next meal, then we look over to see Scott is already opening a fish-and-chips shop and setting up the marketing and franchising strategy. 😂 👌

@shanselman

Nice to see you here.

An own mastodon server is a very good idea. If many techs do it, this will reduce the pressure of moderators on the other servers (#MoreMastodonServers).

I'm afraid that some moderators will give up if the known servers are flooded with more and more users.

Can you post how you set up your server? In your blog posts you always described something like this super well. I liked your blog (#BlogsNotDead)

@frankel @shanselman

Yes! I’ve been thinking about doing the same. Would love to see how it works out for you. I also saw that @binarytango has experience also.
