@MrEFinch @SuperlativeC @stux I can see people on other servers and follow ( all except one @mraharrison on his other server. Best suggestion is to ask folk for their Mastodon username. I am finding people through other people and people posting on the bird app. However, I needed a clear-out, so starting again with a smaller number of follows is fine. We can use hashtags and boost significant edu-posts to gain followers.

@spaceriker @MrEFinch @SuperlativeC @stux not sure if it helps but it is basically deliberate and by design as far as I know. You can still follow people and find them via name search of their mastodon handle name. Hashtags and reblogs however are really important. Almost like a beacon to like-minded people. I had this, although ended up opening 3 accounts on diff servers by mistake.

You see followers organically when other people you follow interact with them.

Not much help, I'm afraid.

@MrEFinch @stux not seen a setting in the apps for this, but on the web it gives you a link to 'Browse more on the original profile' so maybe looking at the list in a browser from your main profile https://mstdn.social/@MrEFinch may help?
