@dynarski yeah, that's why I think Twitter will probably remain my main channel.

I'm here to not lose EconTwitter news, banter. But my other peeps (edu, India policy, non-econ dev) seem steady on Twitter. So are most journalists, news outlets etc.

@dynarski Same—the attraction was the opportunity to see different perspectives from people in different contexts with different experiences than my own (building a progressively larger follow list since I joined in the early, early days—and tbh also building a really long block list). Regardless, glad you are here.

2. In the new account, go to accounts and select "moving from another account".
3. Then enter your old account handle.
4. Now login to your old account, go to accounts, then select "moving to another account".
5. Then enter your new account handle. 
6. Submit

This works okay for migrating followers (only lost 50%), but sadly, it does not migrate your follows
