I am a researcher mainly focusing on political #violence. I especially work on #Kurdish politics, #Colombian conflict, and authoritarianization in #Turkey. @tofugolem I hope so, but that is considerably more difficult than our job due to the volume of tweets in English. It would require a larger research team and enough resources so that they can work on it full time. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that this kind of projects are not considered very 'marketable' by funding bodies and university administrations.
