i was making some bread when i realized

i have garlic

i can make GARLIC BREAD

@hillexed are you going to put your garlic IN your bread
@demize yes isnt that how you make garlic bread

@hillexed I know very little about garlic bread, but I think usually it's just normal bread that you put garlic butter on and then toast? or at least that's what the garlic bread I've had has always seemed like

garlic in the bread sounds amazing though

@demize oh. all i know about garlic bread is that it's called garlic bread. its too late it's already in the oven
@hillexed the good news is that while most recipes seem to be "take regular bread, add garlic oil", I have found some recipes for "put the garlic in the dough" too, so it's not without precedent

@demize @hillexed A really quick way to make bread less boring is to apply dried minced garlic (of the type you'd have on a spice rack) with the margarine, and then stick in the microwave for a bit.

(Though the microwave is partly influenced by wanting to expedite defrosting, since we keep bread in the freezer to increase longevity.)

@demize @hillexed I tried this with enough garlic to kill a Frenchman, in college

It just killed the yeast
