Tor is now officially designed to kill grassroots movements.

We can no longer support it for anything more than maintaining some of the already popular movements.

We need to trust our intuition. As much as we liked #Tor we cannot let this blind us to the notion that it is now another captured and corporatised entity.

#TorProject dropping #humanReadable and memorable addresses by forcing the adoption of #v3Addresses is an aggressive move, to kill any possibility of #grassrootsAction.

#ByeTor

We apologise to anyone who, seeing our #UseTor hashtags decided to invest their energies into #Tor services.

The best option that we have now seems to be #I2P, but maybe keep on the lookout for others.

Wondering if anyone will be willing and able enough to fork Tor and #TorBrowser to accept addresses of reasonable length. If so, it might be worth someone offering a #BugBounty to find any potential security bugs also.

We especially apologise to those people who wasted hours and in some cases, days, of computing power to generate human readable #Tor addresses.

Only to be slapped in the face by developers who seem intent to pass the mantle of human readable afdressing to a "trusted thirdParty".

These people are not playing daft or coy. They know full-well what they are doing.

Tor is actively being #underdeveloped.

See #MichaelParenti on how things are #artificiallyConverted to a #failedState.
