● 更好追溯的決策紀錄，讓架構變更討論更聚焦

Tor Project 的系統管理員團隊 TPA 最近把做決策的方式，從過去的 RFC（Request For Comments）改為 ADR（Architecture Decision Record）。不僅是通知變更何時上線，也把提案的背景與取捨交代清楚。

這套 ADR 流程的重點在「讓文件易讀好懂」與「責任劃分更明確」。模板從容易長篇的結構精簡到 5 個面向。流程也調整節奏。重大決策在會議說明，較小決策則用 email。

TPA 會先釐清每項決策的決策者。再定義被諮詢者與需被告知者。對齊經典的 RACI，降低「人人都想發言」造成的自行車棚效應。

最後，TPA 也把「做決策與記錄決策」和「對外溝通決策」拆開。ADR 文件專注在記錄決策本身。外部說明則用更像五何法（Five Ws）的方式重新整理，讓讀者快速抓到重點。

決策紀錄更容易一眼消化。權責更清楚。討論不容易無止境延續。

Yeah. I still don't see Iran on my standalone snowflake proxy and it's been running for about 3 days now.

They used to be one of the top countries too. Idk. It's just sad. I hope they get their internet back

It's been a while since I did one of these and it seems like Iran's not here anymore. I'm guessing their government's still blocking the internet. Damn, they used to be one of the regular top users of snowflake proxies.

This situation really reminds me of my big brother. He used to block my internet access, but I always managed to regain access.

So the contract for the netcup VPS where my Tor middle relay node is hosted is due to expire on 2026-03-31. I was going to just let it expire, but I'm now going to renew it. It's about $6.65/month, which is affordable to me. I'm glad to contribute to the Tor network in the way that I can.
