It just goes on the long list of Things I Just Realised This Minute Are Ableist As Well As Just Kinda Wrong. I can do so much more spinning in one sitting if i predraft very finely. It's not like its not still a skill to know how to do it? It's not like I'm not still making yarn? It's not like it doesn't still look badass? Ugh. Gross. May the yarn harlot get her face steeked.

@wobin i think the same as why you shouldn't park and draft... "you'll never learn how to do it the seamless way, if you cheat". They always phrased it as cheating, lol.

@ositalinguista mmmmyes. They have been rampant for a -long- time now. My usual BIPOC group stopped meetups because of the stress of interacting with them was just getting too much.
