I just love knitting with homespun. Even when thoroughly washed it just feels alive, unlike yarn from the shop.
This one documents my efforts to improve in English long draw over the past months. Starting at the bottom with the first and more inconsistent skeins, working up to some yoke colourwork with that gradual change in skill. Not sure if it's actually visible, but I certainly feel more confident!
Not sure if I mentioned here or just Patreon, but I am trying to stash bust this year. Even so, this combo of coloured merino from Lescatole.de, ostensibly felting supplies, breached my defenses and has joined the long blending & spinning queue.

Während bei der World Press Freedom Day Global Conference am 04. und 05. Mai in Lusaka, Sambia, über diese Themen gesprochen wird, spinne, stricke und häkle ich im Atelier Mitzi für die Pressefreiheit: Mit meiner Handspindel stelle ich aus alten Zeitungen Papiergarn her. Daraus entstehen gehäkelte Körbe und gestrickte Stücke.
