When you think about it, calling them TERFs is giving them way more credit than they deserve. They're actively antifeminist, and upholding well established, outdated gender norms is probably the least radical thing you can do.

While i absolutely agree, our understanding is that the "radical" in radical feminism refers to "the root of" bc they think the root cause of all of the world's ills is patriarchy, rather than it being like. Actually radical.

Which, even if they weren't frequently awful (esp the transmisic ones) is just straight-up inaccurate anyway

@certifiedperson It's also, let's be honest, quite a contortion of the way language works. If terminology requires this much explanation, it's shitty terminology 😂

Also, declaring that patriarchy is the problem and then actively upholding it with transphobic fake "biology" feels like it should take some high level mental gymnastics.

patriarchy, as a system of oppressing anything other than the top dogs in society, is the problem.
it's just that most feminists don't see that, or don't want to know it, in the case of terfs and farts.
